CCTV Drain Surveys Poole

CCTV drain surveys are a cost-effective, quick and simple method to identify drainage issues. Our Poole CCTV drain surveys are very popular and can help spot any problems with drains or pipes months before they become evident at the surface.

We are based locally in Poole and are on hand 24/7 to deal with all drainage situations. Following the CCTV survey of your drains, we will provide a full report of our findings with photos of damage, video footage and a plan showing the location of the drains.

Maintain Drains is proud to be based in Poole, Dorset. Our Poole-based team serve the surrounding areas including Parkstone, Creekmoor, Hamworthy, Oakdale, Sandbanks and Branksome.

Poole is a stunning seaside town we are proud to serve. We offer drainage services such as drain unblocking, relining, repairs, jetting and CCTV drain surveys. We also help to remove and prevent rats in drains and support local businesses in Poole by offering commercial drainage services, such as grease trap installation and maintenance and drain mapping

Poole is nearby to many local rivers and streams such as River Bourne, River Piddle and Sherford River, which of course impacts Poole’s local drainage system. We are proud to work with Dorset County Council on a 4-year contract to provide specialist drainage services needed across the council’s portfolio. We are proud to support and work with our local community.

After a CCTV Drain Survey – What’s Next?

Following a CCTV Drain Survey, we can use the findings to show photos of damage, video footage and a plan showing the location of the drains. We provide services to deal with all drainage issues whether it be an emergency or a small leak.

Drain relining and replacement

If following a CCTV drain survey we notice your drains or pipes are damaged, depending on the cause and severity of the issue, we may recommend replacing or relining your drains

Drain relining is a popular option thanks to the ‘no-dig’ technology, meaning we can repair the pipe without the need to excavate. This is the fastest way to repair the drain, as you simply only need to wait for the new lining to be sealed.

If a pipe is heavily damaged, drain relining may not be an option. We can excavate the pipe safely, and replace it within the same day.

Drain Unblocking

There are many reasons your drain may be blocked, such as root ingress, damage to pipes, or a simple build up of dirt, hair and grease. We offer many drain clearance services.

Drain Jetting involves firing high-pressure water through your drains to clear any blockages which may be preventing the usual flow. This high-pressure water can navigate bends and is able to clear blockages which may be far down within the pipes and unable to be reached by drain rods.

Drain rodding is another method we use to unblock drains, more often used for blockages identified to be near the surface. Our high quality, durable drain rods can help to pull out and clear blockages in the pipes identified by CCTV drain surveys. Read more about how we find drain blockages here

Pitch Fibre Repairs

If your CCTV drain survey identifies pitch fibre pipes, the chances are, they will need to be repaired. Pitch fibre pipes were often used in properties built from 1950-1970, and as recently discovered, only have a lifespan of around 40 years. After this, the pipes begin to delaminate causing them to break down and collapse, preventing water flow.

Rats in Drains

Rats and other small animals can enter drains through damaged or cracked pipes. These can often be caused due to damage while undertaking property renovation works. Once in the pipes and drains, these animals then have the potential to access your home. Our CCTV drain surveys can identify these access points and then we can help you find a solution to prevent and stop this from occurring.

Pleasant young man, still smiling after what he had to do was amazing. They are also very, very competitive price wise. I would highly recommend Maintain Drains to anyone , thank you once again

5 star review  Spoke to Jon at Maintain prior to our house purchase as a house surveyor's report does not give sufficient information. Could not fault the service. Video's of all the drains. a map of their location and description of condition which is incredibly useful for future plans. He arranged everything which was appreciated as we are (were) not local and the report was with us the next day. Like the electrician who inspected the electrical installation; both worth every penny of their fees prior to a house purchase.
